Musana's Second Annual Gala will be held on Saturday, Feb. 28, 2015 at 6:30pm in the Rotunda Room of the Utah State Capitol Building. Join us for an evening of great entertainment, fine dining and charity as we come together to affect change in the Lugazi, Uganda community.

To participate in our silent auction remotely, register here and get bidding!

Keynote speaker, Harriet Ochieng, was one of Musana's first artisans. Harriet was fortunate enough to receive a formal education and is highly educated for a woman in Uganda. After finding out she was HIV positive, her life and future changed drastically. Harriet has become the epitome of resilience in her community and is an example to us all. Today, Harriet is the Uganda spokesperson for Musana and plays a crucial role in Musana's health and education programs. We are thrilled for Harriet to share her story and know it will be as inspirational as she is.

Event emcee, Emily Clark, is a familiar face in Salt Lake City from ABC 4's Good Morning Utah. Emily grew up in Farmington, Utah and loves telling stories of Utahns doing extraordinary things. We are honored to have her in attendance as our emcee.

popsbw.jpgThe Salt Lake City Pops Orchestra was founded in 2011 by Nathaniel Drew. Buzz about the orchestra's innovative performances grew after their first YouTube videos went viral. Covering current pop songs with artists including Lindsey Sterling and Alex Boye, the Pop Orchestra became a hit. The Pop Orchestra has performed for various charities and we are excited to have an octet performing at our gala.
