Job Overview

Tim Hortons Foundation Camps provide overnight camps for youth from underprivileged communities, helping them build social and leadership skills. Our goal is to support young people to become active and engaged members of society. We aim to develop leaders who can strengthen their communities.

Role Summary

The Seasonal Maintenance Worker is responsible for keeping the camp’s facilities and grounds clean and well-maintained.

Work Location:
Tim Horton Onondaga Farms in St. George, ON

Contract Period:
March 17, 2025 – October 31, 2025

Salary Range:
$17.71 – $19.46 per hour

Key Duties

  • Safely use power mowers, electric clippers, and other landscaping tools.
  • Keep the camp clean and landscaped.
  • Follow health and safety rules and handle equipment and chemicals properly.
  • Support department goals and help other teams when needed.
  • Interact positively with campers and visitors.
  • Show inclusivity, reliability, and teamwork in the work environment.

Requirements

  • Ability to safely operate lawn care equipment.
  • Self-motivated, flexible, and good at working in a team.
  • Clear criminal background check or vulnerable sector search if needed.
  • Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
  • Reliable transportation to and from the camp.
  • Physically able to bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Flexible schedule, including some weekends.
  • Legally eligible to work in Canada or the USA, depending on camp location.
