They work well for a variety of succulents, calla lilies, dracaena, dieffenbachia, pothos, and even clean cut lucky bamboo stalks. Would recommend. I'm sure they'd also work well for vegetables and pruning a variety of outdoor flowers and plants, given that the stems aren't thicker than about an inch.

    This is the first pair of shears I've had because I just began my journey to taking care of a few inside plants and they are GREAT 👍🏾. They are for the plants with a really thick stem but I believe if you know how to trim, you'd still be able to use these. They are working out great for me. No issues. They open up at a decent width to cut them stems I have. The lock works great. they are sharp and have.good tension to the spring. No complaints from me for what I use them for.
